Fun news! BESTIES: WORK IT OUT has been selected for the Texas Library Association’s 2022 Texas Maverick Graphic Novels Reading List, alongside a variety of welcome company. As per the announcement:
“The Texas Maverick Graphic Novels Reading List (TMGNRL) is a recommended reading list developed by public and school librarians from the Young Adult Round Table (YART). The purpose of the list is to encourage students in grades 6-12 to explore a variety of current books. The titles here are a wonderful and wide selection of books for middle and high schoolers.“
Additionally, you can catch me signing copies of BESTIES at the Poughkeepsie Public Library District’s Poughkeepsie Book Festival on Saturday, April 2nd from 10 AM – 4 PM. Free admission, and no registration required! From the organizers:
“Our annual Book Festival is back and is guaranteed to be a great day! Meet and greet over 40 authors and illustrators (covering reading ages from preschool to Young Adult), costumed book characters […] and more! There will be fun crafts and activities for the kids. Books will be available to purchase and to have signed by the authors and illustrators who made them.”
